Frequently Asked Questions

Some of the questions which we are most frequently asked are set out below together with the answers. If there are any other questions which you think should be added, please let us know.

Can Orders be Sent to New Zealand or Australia?

Unfortunately, our supplier does not process orders to outside of UK, Europe or Japan at this time.

We receive many requests per week from Australasia and we are endeavoring to convince our provider to process through our online store direct to NZ and Australia.

Can I Order from the USA?

Yes! Retro Kiwi is trialling a supplier for customers in the USA. A limited range of products is available at the link available below:

What is the Quality of the Product?

Our research for a suitable manufacturing partner has been focused solely on quality. Products are 100% cotton and are of high quality. Weight of standard t-shirts is between 180-185 g/m2. Standard shirts have a double-stitched hem and an unbelievably soft surface texture.

You can review the quality statement of individual products by clicking on them within our shop.

What are the Acceptable Payment Methods?

At the moment, payment can be made, dependent on the country, by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Diner) or Switch.

Production of the order will start as soon as your credit card payment has been authorised.

Returns and Exchanges

From time to time, despite strict quality controls, sometimes mistakes happen. Defective products will be exchanged without question, or returned for a full refund. Our Manufacturing Partner has Returns Policy compliant with EU Rules. Please do not return goods without contacting them first. Please send an email with the order number and the problem to: service@spreadshirt.net and they will then work out the return process with you individually. The Customers Service team will keep in contact with you throughout the process.

What are the Postage Costs?

If the total cost of your order is below £17 then the postage cost is £2.20. If the total cost of your order is between £17 and £350 the postage cost is £4. For total orders greater than £350 postage is free of charge.

How Long Does Delivery Take?

90% of all orders leave our Manufacturing Partner within 24 hours of receiving the order and payment. Including payment processing, order processing and postage time your order should be with you in about a week.

Prerequisites to quick shipment:
Please include your full credit card information and complete delivery and billing address.

Possible Complications:
- There may be complications in our supplies. The customer service department will inform you if there are longer-term shipment problems.
- There may also be delays in your shipping, due either to incorrect information or shipment problems. We use Deutsche Post and DHL. The shipping companies are responsible for the shipping of products therefore they therefore hold control of the delivery time. Please ensure that you give full and complete shipping details at the time of making your order. UK Deliveries: Delivery in the UK is by Royal Mail or DHL Couriers. It takes up to five days for delivery. PLEASE NOTE: experience tells us that is you can have the items delivered to work then you should use this as the 'shipping address' as we all know the frustrations of couriers calling during the day and leaving 'the dreaded card!'

Can I buy these products in a shop anywhere?
Unfortunately, no. These products can only be purchased exclusively through our internet shop. Delivering our products via the web helps to keep the prices reasonable.

Will new designs and products be added?
Yes! New designs are added all the time as suggestions come in. At the very least check our site at the end of each month to see what new designs have been added.

When I click on a product the design looks blurry. Will the image on the shirt appear blurry?
No. The image resolution of designs for use on the t-shirts is very high to ensure end product clarity. When the images are reduced in size to be presented in the internet shop they are shrunk to approximately one sixth of the original image size, creating an on-screen distortion, or blurring effect.
